Glass that bends
Drag the glass over these lines. Letters near the rim curve and stretch, as through the thick edge of a lens, while the middle stays clear and easy to read.
Each control sits on the kind of content it is meant to float over. The glass is always on the controls, never on the content: notes, photos and lists stay solid. Switch the appearance or turn on Reduce Transparency in the bar above to see the fallbacks.
Content under the glass bends along its outline, which plain blur cannot do. Clear glass shows it on text; regular glass shows it in the blurred colours.
Circular chips, related actions grouped into one capsule, and a single tinted action. The note card is solid; only the bar is glass.
A floating capsule. Only the selected tab is tinted, on its icon and label. Search gets its own smaller capsule beside the group.
Glass turns dark over dark content and light over light content. Here the scene sets darker glass tokens, so the same components adapt without extra styles.
Regular is the default and almost opaque. Clear is only for controls over photos and video, and over a bright image it needs a 35% dark layer. The dashed one skips it, and its label gets lost.
One glass container with solid groups inside, and a pointer aimed at the button that opened it. Only one at a time.
Every item in a group has an icon, or none do. Verbs in title case, an ellipsis when more input follows, and Delete on its own in red.
A glass sheet at medium height, with a grabber, a close button and a tinted confirm button. The fields inside it are solid.
